Service Providers
Carriers and ISPs face an challenging business environment where their basic networking products are undifferentiated and increasingly commoditized. They need to find ways to add value and increase revenue per user.
Flexible Networks helps our Carrier and ISP partners to grow revenue from their mid-market and enterprise customers by providing a complete cloud-based Network and Security as a Service (NSaaS) solution. This solution is composed of three core technologies which are available individually to carrier and ISPs for resale to their customers. These sub-solutions are:
- FlexSecure Cloud Unified Threat Management (UTM)
- FlexRemote Cloud Remote Access Service (RAS)
- FlexNetwork Cloud MPLS Virtual Private Network (MPLS VPN)
FlexSecure Cloud UTM
The FlexSecure Cloud UTM service is a comprehensive, 100% cloud-based suite of security services. This enterprise-class service comes with continuous signature updates for maximum protection against zero-day attacks, and features Flexible Networks' standard 24/7 carrier-class support.
This service applies the following protection to all traffic, unlike other cloud UTM solutions that protect only web surfing and email:
- Firewall
- Anti-virus
- Anti-spam
- Web filtering
- Intrusion Prevention System/Intrusion Detection System (IPS/IDS)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Denial of Service (DoS) protection
FlexRemote Cloud RAS
The FlexRemote Cloud RAS service extends FlexSecure Cloud UTM to remote employees using SSL-VPN technology. Cloud RAS supports a wide variety of remote devices, from laptops to tablets. Devices currently supported by FlexSecure are:
- Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7
- MAC OS
- Linux
- Apple iOS
- Android
- Nokia Symbian
- Windows Mobile
FlexNetwork Cloud MPLS VPN
The FlexNetwork cloud MPLS VPN moves the complexity of VPNs into the cloud, performing multi-site configuration and routing on our carrier-class infrastructure rather than on-premise. By implementing VPNs in the cloud, FlexNetwork delivers secure connections over any type of connectivity, even an existing Internet connection.
Centralizing the VPN service in the cloud allows enterprises' IT staff to manage their VPN via the Flexible Networks portal rather than using error-prone manual processes. This reduces complexity and improves quality.
